Important Statement


It is the purchasers responsibility to read the terms and conditions of sale and delivery. At the end of the on-line order process you will be asked to click to accept the Terms and conditions. By doing so, as stated, you accept and agree to be bound by our Terms & Conditions. If you have any questions please phone us.

In the event of supply difficulties we reserve the right to substitute goods or packaging of either equal or higher value and quality without further notice. Please e-mail or phone us if you need to check availability or if your request is specific, before placing your order.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Alcohol

It is illegal in the U.K to sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. It is also an offence for persons under 18 to buy, or attempt to buy alcohol. No persons under 18 years of age may place an order with Cheshire Baskets, if the goods contain alcohol.

Safety & Substituted Products


In the interest of safety please ensure you keep all packaging, wrappings, away from children. Please follow all instructions on each individual packet carefully before consumption of foods. Please ensure that all ingredients are checked to ensure that persons with any food allergies are not given foods which may cause a reaction as foods may be substituted from time to time for supply issues and may differ from contents listed.

Reservation of Title


The legal title to any goods supplied or delivered does not pass to the buyer until they have been paid for in full. Until full payment received, the goods remain the property of Cheshire Baskets.

Shipping And Handling

Our standard delivery options and prices will be displayed with each item as you proceed to checkout.
We only ship to UK mainland addresses.
It may be possible to ship to the Highlands, Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland,
Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands. Please email before purchasing for courier postage charges.

Delivery Terms and Conditions

We endeavour to dispatch orders within 48 hours of receipt (Mon -Thurs). Orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched on Monday. Saturday deliveries may be possible but will incur an extra charge. Please contact us for details before placing an order. Orders must be received by 11.00am on a Thursday for Saturday delivery.

Once your order has been placed we will notify you by email.

All orders require a signature on delivery. It is the sender's responsibility to ensure a signatory is at the delivery address to take receipt of the parcel. In the event of no-one being at the address to take receipt of the gift, our courier will leave a card which gives information on how to re-arrange delivery, or how to collect the gift from their nearest delivery depot. At this point it then becomes the responsibility of the recipient to arrange for the collection or delivery of their parcel. If not collected within 3 days, parcels are returned to us. A redelivery charge will be made to deliver again at twice the original delivery cost, as we are charged for the return and redelivery of all parcels. If redelivery is requested the purchaser will also be charged for any perishable items which have become unsuitable for sale and need replacing.

Cheshire Baskets cannot be held liable for failed deliveries, as a result of our courier being unable to contact the recipient directly.
We cannot accept responsibility or any costs incurred as the result of a delay in delivery by the Couriers due to adverse weather conditions or accident. Where damage has occurred due to such delay a replacement will be dispatched to the recipient.

For orders that are for urgent delivery or if you have a questions please e-mail us or phone for information.

Due to the perishable nature of goods please note all customers are liable for any refused deliveries (unless goods are damaged).

If, for any reason, a basket needs to be returned to us, please note the customer can be held liable for any shipping/courier charges incurred. In the event of a parcel being returned to us we will refund the cost of your order. If an error has been made or an incomplete address has been given the cost of shipping, together with the same cost for return of the parcel back to us, and possibly further restocking charges will be deducted from the total value of your order.

We will do our utmost to make sure that all orders are fulfilled and delivered within the timeframe specified but should events outside our control prevent this we will contact you by email and arrange alternatives. If we are unable to fulfil your order, for any reason, a refund for all monies already paid will be made to the credit/debit card used.

Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases and the service we provide. If the goods you have chosen do not meet your approval, please return them to us within 7 days, unused and in their original packaging, and we will happily refund the value of the goods.

Damaged Goods


In the unlikely event of damage or loss in transit, we will replace the damaged contents or gift immediately free of charge providing the following:
The goods are signed for upon receipt as either 'damaged' or 'unexamined' The carrier and ourselves are informed at once and it is confirmed by the recipient to us in writing within three days of delivery quoting reference number on the parcel.
Damaged goods must be retained for inspection and it may be required that they be returned to us at our expense before replacement or refund. We regret that claims cannot be accepted if over three days from date of receipt.

Cancellations

For on line purchases the customer has the right to cancel an order up to seven days after receipt of goods. Where this right is exercised you will be refunded the full amount minus any perishable goods which cannot be resold and any items which have been consumed or damaged as well as carriage charges incurred. All goods must be returned in good condition. We aim to provide the refund within seven days on receipt of returned goods, less any charges as stated above, once the hamper has been returned. Notification of cancellation must be in writing - letter or email. Please see details below. Cost of return to be paid by the customer.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Cheshire Baskets shall be entitled to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time but this right shall not affect the existing Terms and Conditions accepted by the Buyer upon making a purchase.
